Meu Gordinho Lindo 2 Months Old

Posted by Picasa
Meu gordinho is already 2 months old!
I can hardly believe...
But his development is really amazing.
Our little guy is now coordinating his movements better, he found his hands and looks at them with amazed eyes. He is also almost able to purposely grab objects now.We attached an activity center over her crib. I change the objects on it from time to time. He likes bright colors, interesting shapes and things that move easily...

Sweet Leandro at 5 weeks old

"You'll sleep my baby, you'll sleep softly
Your face as tranquil as a summer's day,
Your fingers slacken as you let go my hand
You'll sleep my baby, and the morning will come."

Grobags

I think you would like to know more about Grobags.
Leandro only sleep on a Grobag and it is pretty convenient.

Grobag Baby Sleeping Bags are the safe alternative to blankets and sheets.
With Health Canada regulations stating that no loose bedding should be available in a baby's crib, a Grobag is the perfect solution.
Many babies kick off top bedding and become chilly in the middle of the night, while Grobag® baby sleeping bags keep babies warm and cosy, whatever position they end up in by the morning. This means a safer sleeping environment for your baby and more sleep for you.

Grobag® recently sponsored a survey by the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID), a leading baby charity, which discovered that 52% of parents thought a baby’s bedding should be left loose. This is a worrying statistic as research in the UK found that loose bedding could increase the risk of cot death by up to 9 times. We spend a lot of time ensuring that Grobag® baby sleeping bags meet all relevant standards, and they also ensure that they provide comprehensive guidance and information about using Grobag® baby sleeping bags safely and correctly.

The Happiest Baby on the Block - Recommendation Book

Hello all,

There is this book called 'The Happiest Baby on the Block' that I strongly recommend.
We got the book from a very good friend of Kerry's. They have two kids and used this book a lot.
It has lots of good tips on how to soothe a fussy or colic baby. It has interesting points and a very modern and intuitive perspective on how to raise a happy baby. It is easy to read and to follow. i am sure you will like it too!

I started reading it and now I read it every night before bed as a reminder and to get new advices.

THE HAPPIEST BABY ON THE BLOCK -
The Book Doctors around the country are calling this extraordinary new book an instant classic!
“The Happiest Baby is one of the smartest parenting books of the past decade. Over and over, parents will proclaim, Thanks, Dr. Karp…Now I get it!“--Kyle Pruett, MD, Professor of Child Psychiatry, Child Study Center, Yale University School of Medicine
The Happiest Toddler will make you the "happiest parent on the block!"

Buy this book today and have a happier baby...and calmer family…tomorrow!

Uncle Nicolas & Auntie Julie - My Third Visitors

In this pic you can see Uncle Nicolas and Auntie Julie holding Leandor. Leandro feels happy when Auntie Julie picks me up.
Uncle Nicolas is going to teach him soccer when he grows up.

Unfotunately, there are no pictures with Auntie Lilian...
That is because she was helping me so much trying to make Leandro sleep and calm down.

Thank you guys for coming and visit!

Here I am beginning 38 weeks of pregnancy. It has been a milestone. We took the opportunity to take a few pics before heading to the Stantec Winter Gala at the Westin Hotel. It was a great opportunity also to see my fellow co-workers again.

'From seedsYou watered us.
As we sprouted you helped us grow with the warmth of your radiant love.
Along the way you trimmed us to keep us safe from Harm.
When we grew out of our little pods, you replanted us, where you gave us hope and showed us faith that we may be able to do for others as you did for us.'
