Wanti, Januar, Nicole and Billy arrived at our home at 10:00AM and we all head to Banff for lunch at the luxurious and gorgeous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for a special celebration lunch buffet. We celebrated Nicole's Birthday (April 20th) and our anniversary (April 22th).
Kerry and I celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary (the Canadian one).
It is quite a big deal. Kerry and I met in Tokushima, Japan (September 1997). I was working part-time at the Tsutaya Bookmark Video Rental Store and Kerry one day show up looking for the Evita Soundtrack CD for rent. I kindly helped him in English. Kerry came quite often to rent videos after that and soon he was inviting me for donut and tea after my work shifts. We became quite good friends. After I passed the entrance examination for Kumamoto University, Kerry got a job at Zenrin in Fukuoka. Kerry went back to Canada in 1999 and we had to mantain a distance relationship for almost two years with small breaks in between. During my two visits to Canada I started to know his dear family and friends in Edmonton. Soon after I graduated in 2000, Kerry and I decided to get marry. Since then we were together learning from each other, growing and strenghtening our relationship. Happy Anniversary!
