Raymmon & Jennifer B-Day at Regency Palace

March 23, 2005. Today at noon we celebrated Raymond's and Jennifer's B-Day at the Regency Palace restaurant in China Town. The Regency Palace is Raymon'd family chinese restaruant. It serves great Dim Sum and Chinese Food Buffet. The Regency Palace is probably Calgary's finest Dim Sum restaurant. There is a wide selection of items to choose from, and all are large, hot, and made from excellent ingredients. Service is quick, but if you just can't wait for something to arrive at the table, you can probably find it in the self-service section. For about $15.00 per person, you should leave the restaurant full, and very satisfied. We did! Thanks Ray!
Location: Regency Palace Restaurant(403) 777-2288328 Centre Street SECalgary, AB
But also a not very good thing happened today... Our dear friend Phil was let go. Well, he was suppose to stay for 3 weeks, but unfortunately he had to leave right away. Company policy they said. But it is really sad to see a hard-worker and dedicated employee to be treated in this manner. It really made me feel really bad. We will definately miss him here. We could not even say a proper good-bye. Wherever you are Phil, I am sure you will do great!

The Incredibles

March 20th 2005. We finally rented 'The Incredibles'. What a cute movie! Unfortunately we missed the movie at the theatres... So we waited until it was out on DVD. Mr. Incredible is a superhero; or he used to be... Until a surge of lawsuits against superheroes submitted by the people they've saved forced the government to hide them in witness protection programs so they could lead normal, anonymous lives.
Now known exclusively by his secret identity, Bob Parr, he lives with his wife Helen, formerly Elastigirl, and their three children Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack. He works as an insurance claims specialist, and he's fed up with his pushy boss and his immoral profession, but his wife's worked too hard to build a normal life for her family to abide his nostalgia for heroism.
When Mr. Incredible's offered the chance to play the role of hero again by a mysterious informant, he jumps at the opportunity, but when it turns out to be a trap set by an old nemesis he had a hand in corrupting, the whole family must reveal themselves to save Mr. Incredible and countless innocents. It was such a cute family oriented movie. Highly Recommended!
