Running Romm Half-Marathon Clinic Schedule

Clinic 13870: Half Marathon
Start Date: Mar 31/05
End Date: Jul 7/05
Eau Claire Market Store Running Room (Unit A01, 200 Barclay Parade SW)
This week, the clinic focused on orienting everyone to the class. They went over some general outlines for the clinic, discuss our target race, introduce the clinic instructor and talk a bit about the training program.
I am looking to have the self confidence to achieve both my athletic and personal goals.
Most people who get into a regular exercise program will eat better food, have more energy, be sick less often and will maintain a more positive attitude. Above all, I'll have fun and as you meet the members of the group, I will share many uplifting experiences.
Each week we have a 30-40 minute talk or presentation followed by a question/answer period and then a run. The run is short and easy, which helps you get to know each other. At times, we will have experts come to speak on areas such as sports medicine, and nutrition.
In addition to the regular meetings for the weekly clinic, they encourage people to join some of the other group activities to meet people and have support in your running. Every Wednesday night at 6 pm the Running Room Running Club (you are automatically a member - no entry fee required) goes out for a group social run. The group is open to anyone interested in running with other people. Additionally, the Run Club meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 am ( Saturday 8am USA only)for a group run. Generally, most people use this day for a scheduled weekly run.
These runs are there to provide you with the motivation to keep up the training and break the Lonely runner problem. There is no loneliness for the long distance runner with a Running Room group, rather a grand support system. Our Instructor: Adam and Diane
