36 weeks - My mood and feelings

Hello Family and Friends,
Exciting news! I am entering the 36 week of gestation with a lot of new feelings and experiences.
I have noticed a great change in the baby's movements. As the uterus is getting very tight for space, the baby is rolling and I can feel something like an arm or a leg just passing through the uterine walls. Some people say that he may wiggle about less because of this constriction, but I really feel that his movements are generally stronger and well more defined.

Others said that I may be able to see the outline of certain body parts such as an elbow or a heel appearing under your skin. (Looking forward to experience that! However, i may have seen an elbow already!)
By this stage, most babies will have assumed the head down position ready for birth. My doctor said that our baby is probably head down because of the movement patterns. (I feel more on the top and sides of my tummy.)

Here are some pregnancy developments:

  • Baby is indeed feels like head down. Fear sets in as D-day approaches.
The word vagina seems to be a key word in my vocabulary these days.
  • Dancing baby got an A in movement from the doctor. Everything looks good. Everything else looks OK: blood pressure, heart rate, belly size, blood sugars, proteins, etc. Also, the baby is pretty comfortable in there so it isn’t coming out anytime soon.
  • The underside of my belly is sometimes itchy. I have also developed some stretch marks. the best cream that really works for me is: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula, Massage Cream For Stretch Marks 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • My belly button is a mere shadow of it's former self. I have a well defined linea nigra.
  • In essence what I am saying is that what comes out and what it gets named is a big mystery to everyone involved (except the baby who is possibly giggling away in my belly because he/she is the only one who knows what/who they are).

February will be full of surprises for everyone.
